We are a small, newly established and ambitious production team working for The Grand healthy living centre and Gifted Young Generation youth project in Gravesend, Kent.
During lockdown we changed our delivery of marketing and communications overnight and have since evolved to produce online content that connects with our audiences.
Due to the success of this work, we are now looking to expand our team and the content we are creating, while increasing the quality and variety of our work.
We’re not your conventional production team, we work across multiple projects at any one time, from grassroots community health projects in the local area to working with national organisations on major projects. We also lead on print marketing, social media, web development, press and take an active role in working directly with our stakeholders… so we’re a busy team.
In the past year we have developed two new websites, launched a new youth podcast, worked with a youth group to present their work on stage at the Royal Opera House, interviewed members of the United Nations for a special edition podcast and worked with Arts Council England, to name just a few of our achievements.
If you like a challenge, can hit the ground running by taking on several briefs at any one time and think you can help us create our vision for a range of work we want to hear from you.

We are looking to hire a talented video editor to join our new production team. The role will see the editor working across both the youth team and the community health team’s extensive projects.
The post will report to the Team Leader and work closely with the small but ambitious production team, creating content that documents and promotes the projects the organisation delivers.
Due to the nature of the role, the editor will need to work to tight deadlines, have a flexible work pattern and play an active role delivering on time, to brief and on budget.
The editor will be used to developing an understanding of different audiences and creating work that appeals to their needs and wants. Our work predominantly is distributed via social media channels and an understanding of online opportunities and restrictions which will shape the content is required.
As Video Editor, you will be responsible for assembling recorded film and video footage, working with the team leader and videographer, in an ideas-led, cooperative, environment. Your creative ideas and input will play an important role in developing the different series of work we create.
You will be responsible for applying creative editing techniques, and producing finished, shareable content that accurately reflect the vision of the team leader and videographer to represent the range of projects the organisation delivers.
You will be responsible for working with team members and freelancers to gain the information or assets needed to complete the project and have the ability and foresight to manage your workload independently.
To ensure success as a Video Editor, you should have professional knowledge of modern video editing techniques, be able to visualise directorial concepts, add your own ideas and concepts based on professional experience.
This is a great opportunity for a professional or graduate who is flexible, creative, wants to work for an organisation that gives back to the community and able to understand how to reach and connect with different audiences.
Occasionally we may ask the video editor to assist on other creative projects, such as our podcasting and animation work. Videography skills may be required for larger-scale shoots, to assist the production team.
We sometimes work directly with young people and members of the community, local businesses and other stakeholders to produce projects and the video editor may be required to work within the team in these situations.
Currently, the role is based predominantly working from home, with occasional responsibilities in our main building in Gravesend.
Ultimately, we’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Video Editor who can translate an idea into innovatively crafted film or video pieces.
When required you will also support the team with other communications channels used such as social media, the website and general day to day enquiries.
To work flexibly, this might include some evening and weekend work.
